persone incontrate e l'organizzazione globale.
Non sto' esagerando, ma raramente capita di organizzare una giornata così
intensa e tutto va per il meglio o anche molto più di quanto ci si poteva
aspettare.

Dear Alex

Anne and I would like to thank you for the most memorable tour we had
around Modena in early April. First of all, thank you for making it so
easy to arrange the trip. We had been struggling to find relaiable and
knowleadgable operators who could adapt to our schedule and wants, and
you did that perfectly.
It really was a most enjoyable day and we learnt such a lot. The
visits to Bio Hombre and Fabbi were so interesting, and we were
particularly gladdened by the friendliness of the owners of Fabbi. It is
certainly due to their enthusiasm that we were persuaded to buy
(expensive) traditional balsamic vinegar, which is unobtainable in this
country. Tasting it on our return, we are very glad we did! We were also
impressed by the prices at the parmesan farm: at the airport, parmesan
is 1/3 as more expensive. All our purchases arrived home safely and we
have been enjoying them, as you can see on the photos here:
The lunch at the rural restaurant was definitely a highlight - watching
workers and "suits" rub shoulders while eating the same food is an
abiding memory of Italy.

With all best wishes

Judith and Anne

Alex:
Our trip to Modena was Fantastik. We reallly enjoyed having lunch with you and the food was Great. Were we drinking Nocino? Please send your mothers recipe for the Gncoco Fritto when you get a chance.I hope you have some luck with the Rick Steves Travel Guide. I would love to see a section on Parma and Modena in his book or tours. My friend, who is going to the NY marathon, is going to try and find out where your partners restaurant is and visit it while in NY. Good Luck and thanks for a pleasurable day in Modena. Alex, I just contacted Rick Steves about your services. A staff member replied and asked me what we liked about you. I told them you were the Modena and Emilia romangna guru.
